Nadmin Studio Content Management
Nadmin Studio is a the most cost-effective, professional, all-in-one content management and application server platform available. Functionality of the system
- Multi Language Support
Nadmin Studio interface is available in English, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, German, and Finnish. And its database also supports all languages.
- User Management
Users in Nadmin Studio are classified by Groups according to their responsibilities and relationship to the websites. With the assigned privileges, users can login to the system and perform their tasks with the right set of tools.
- Content Management and Style Management
 In Nadmin Studio, each webpage is composed by its style and content. Style is the design and layout of the webpage which generally contains the page header graphics and the navigation menu. Content is the actual information the page contains. The benefit in dividing a webpage into style and content is that users can change the look and feel of a webpage instantly, and that styles can be shared by different web pages.
- Style
Styles can be created using the online WYSIWYG inline editing tool, or by coding with the HTML editor. Usually users would prefer to create styles using other programs such as Dreamweaver, and then copy the html codes of the style into Nadmin Studio
- Webpage
Each website has a default Root page, on which all other subsequent web pages will be built. When creating a new webpage, user must assign to it a style and use the same WYSIWYG inline editing tool or the HTML editor as in creating styles to create content. The inline editor is customized to allowed users to ‘copy and paste’ tables from Excel files without lost of information.
- News & Articles
 Content of news pages contains the summaries of some selected articles. In Nadmin Studio, articles are being classified by categories defined by company administrator. Each category has its own template which defines the information that makes up the belonging articles, such as article title, article body, article date, author, etc. This feature is convenient for non-technical users such as article writers to input content into Nadmin Studio for generating web pages without having to know the core of the system. Because all they need to do is to select their concerned category and fill in the article creation template. Information that makes up articles can be text, images, flash movies, or attachment files of all types.
- Attachments
Images and other files such as Word documents, PDF files and Flash movies, that are used in a web pages are saved as attachments. When a website is being created, a ‘/attachment’ directory is also created for storing of these attachments. Attachments are managed under the ‘Image’ tab in Nadmin Studio where users can add view, read details, and delete attachments.
- Revision Control
All updates to web pages, in both style and content, are recorded in Nadmin Studio with an assigned revision number. Users are allowed to retrieve any of the stored revisions by using the Revision Control function.
- Approval Process
Approval is required for each webpage to become actively on-line. Only the authorized group of people has the access to this Approve function. You can choose to approve and activate a web page at once, or with a start day. The status of each webpage is indicated in Nadmin Studio with a corresponding status icon.
- Other Features
A number of portal utilitles are already built-in in Nadmin Studio. They are implemented into web pages with predefined styles in a few simple steps according to user preferences. Where required, a separate MySQL database will be built to facilitate proper functioning : Forum, Search, Ad Banner, Friendly Print/Mail to Friend function and Form To E-mail Function
- Administration Tools
 Nadmin Studio serves as a domain name server with its built-in System Admin module, which deals with domain name Management. Email Quota module is also included for email capacity management in the Web mail module. Features - Multiple domain hosting enabled with a single IP – every company in Nadmin Studio is allowed to host multiple domains. - Sub-domain creation and management (e.g. mail, ftp, www, etc.) - Unlimited sub-domains are allowed under every domain. - Email account capacity management
- Other Features
Web Statics is a web server log file analysis module, which produces usage statistics in HTML format for viewing in Nadmin Studio. The results are presented in both columnar and graphical format, which facilitates interpretation. Yearly, monthly, daily and hourly usage statistics are presented, along with the ability to display usage by site, URL, referrer, user agent and country. Membership Management : Member database can be created with the Member Management module in Nadmin Studio. Users can implement the online sign up form into web pages to allow online membership registration, or simply create members manually. To make use of information in the member database, Nadmin Studio also provides users with the Mailing List module and the Newsletter module. |
